E-Cigarette Safety in the Hands of the User

The recent incident in Niceville, Florida involving an explosion of an electronic cigarette battery has brought a high level of attention to their safety. Nearly all self-contained e-cig batteries have built in protections for safety, but there are still steps that must be taken on the part of the user. Always use the charger recommended by the brand or manufacturer. Using the wrong charger for a battery is very dangerous- it creates a risk for fire, meltdown and even explosion.
