Man With Medical Issues Fully Recovers From Substance Abuse After Stay At Narconon Arrowhead Facility
Canadian, OK (PRWEB) June 25, 2012
Levent O., a graduate from the Narconon Arrowhead program in Oklahoma entered the treatment facility in 2007 at the age of 44 with an addiction to cocaine. The problem not only caused him to lose his job, marriage and child but also wreaked havoc on his personal health. Levent was diagnosed with both hyper-thyroid and high blood pressure during his initial medical check up at Narconon Arrowhead.
He received the needed medications to manage these problems and was able to change his diet, implement exercise and take needed vitamins during his stay at the facility and while under the supervision of the Narconon medical staff.
Levent fully completed the program and five years later and effectively manages his medical issues and takes better care of his body in general. He has just celebrated 5 years clean from drugs and has gotten back the things that he lost because of his addiction problem.
Drug use and medical and health problems go hand in hand. Those who abuse drugs often fall chronically ill, develop a series of health issues and without treatment are likely to die an early death. The Narconon Arrowhead residential treatment program often treats clients with medical issues that enroll for help and know that with the right medical care, time off drugs, good nutrition and effective rehabilitation one can fully recover or effectively manage their health.
While the organization is not an acute medical care facility or psychiatric hospital, it does provide 24 hour medical supervision and services along with the rehab treatment. Each client must undergo a full medical assessment to determine if their health issues can be handled through the medical staff at the facility or if they qualify for a higher level of care.
For those who are approved for the program medical conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems can be addressed while they undergo their recovery program.
“Five years later I still believe that Narconon Arrowhead helped save my life, my health and helped me to become a productive, contributing member of society,” says Levent.
The program had had success treatment many individuals through the years like Levent who are able to better their physical health in treatment while handling existing medical issues.
