Family Law Attorney Launches Divorce Education and Support Program for Women

Family Law Attorney Launches Divorce Education and Support Program for Women

Divorganize

(PRWEB) January 10, 2012

Divorce statistics in America continue to be a bleak fact of life. Current high unemployment due to the recession and the stress that places on marriages has not helped.

“But,” says family law attorney Amanda DuBois, “divorce does not have to be a war.”

With 20 years of experience as a family law attorney, Amanda DuBois realizes she has an opportunity to really help families facing divorce.

“Divorce–like getting married or having a baby–is a process,” stated Amanda, “and like any life-altering experience, divorce can be a positive life transition accomplished with integrity and grace. It is our goal to not only help women through their divorce, but make sure they have a positive life after divorce”

Whether you are for or against divorce, the statistics are not good: over 40% percent of marriages in America end in divorce. Divorce in America is a fact of life, but it no longer needs to be an emotional and financial disaster for couples and their families.

In order to change the way American women in particular think about divorce, Amanda DuBois has created a 17-part video series for women called Divorganize. Divorganize helps women understand the divorce process in a way that can reduce stress and improve long-term financial outcomes for women and their families.

“All women are gripped by internal panic and fear during the divorce process which leads to making bad and emotional decisions,” stated Amanda. “It is our goal with Divorganize to provide the education and support that allow women to make smart divorce decisions that will enable them to land on their feet and have a positive future going forward in life after divorce. It is designed to enable women to take charge of their divorce, and not be a victim of divorce”

Divorganize is designed to teach the divorce process quickly and effectively. The video series addresses practical topics such as how to choose a divorce attorney, proper parenting during divorce, how to save money during divorce, child custody issues, property distribution in divorce, financial matters to consider, and the benefits of divorce mediation.

“In a nutshell, it is our desire to provide everything women must know and do concerning divorce for women,” said Elizabeth Myhr, Project Manager for Divorganize.

Divorganize is affordable, and entirely web based in content delivery. Women who purchase the video series can go through the program wherever and whenever it is convenient for them to do so — via a computer, a tablet such as an iPad or Kindle Fire, or on a smart phone.

“We understand the need for privacy some women may have when viewing this program,” stated Elizabeth, “and that is why we have made this program accessible on any device from any location. Women can access it from home, or their local coffee shop, that’s the beauty of it. It is our goal to provide women the education and support they need in the divorce process to alleviate their fears and insecurities as well as to provide them the knowledge they need concerning all the various aspects of divorce and their divorce rights in a divorce. Divorganize is about improving divorce outcomes for women and their children while maintaining personal, family and community integrity.”

About Divorganize

Divorganize is a 17-part video series created to help women quickly understand the divorce process. Divorganize can help women make sound financial and emotional decisions for themselves and their families. Divorganize is designed to help women maintain personal and community integrity while going through divorce.

Amanda DuBois is an attorney, author and creator of the Divorganize divorce education and support program.

Amanda is a Seattle family law attorney with more than 20 years of complex litigation experience, including over 15 years of dedicated service to clients in divorce, parenting and child custody cases. Before becoming an attorney, she was a high-risk labor and delivery nurse at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Amanda has served as a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA) Board of Governors where she chaired the Women’s Section, the Medical Negligence Section and the Family Law Section. Amanda has been a featured speaker and a chairperson at numerous continuing education seminars for attorneys, nurses and mental health professionals.

Amanda currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Women’s Funding Alliance where she chairs the huge annual fundraiser. Women’s Funding Alliance is the largest funder of programs for women and girls in the state of Washington. Amanda is also a member of Seattle Rotary, and fundraises for PeaceTrees Vietnam, a landmine removal project in Quang Tri Province, Vietnam where adults and children are still being injured or killed by unexploded ordnance. A portion of the money received by her law firm is sent directly to PeaceTrees Vietnam. Amanda is the author of LawClass.net, an on-line legal curriculum used by high school students across the United States, and has published a book series, The Civil Survival Series, which teaches basic legal concepts to ordinary people.

Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1978 and received a Juris Doctorate from the School of Law at The University of Puget Sound, now Seattle University.

Abuse of Children and Spouses Link Directly with Financial Woes Complications and Resolutions of These Abuses Discussed on the Dr. Carol Francis Show

Abuse of Children and Spouses Link Directly with Financial Woes Complications and Resolutions of These Abuses Discussed on the Dr. Carol Francis Show

Radio Host Dr. Carol Francis Discussing Financial Wows and the impact on Spousal and Child Abuse

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 17, 2012

Financial complications increase the likelihood of spousal and child abuse as is discussed on The Dr. Carol Francis Show radio program, available at Dr. Carol Francis Show. The strain is very real and so is the risk to children and spouses when money becomes scarce. (U.S. News and World Report, 2011; Evolving Women’s Consciousness, 2011; RelationshipSuccessNow.com; National Coalition for Chid Protection Reform, 2011)

How to stop these abusive reactions to stress is centrally discussed in this radio program, providing immediate and helpful tools by Psychologist and Marriage, Family & Child Therapist, Dr. Carol Francis.

This is in an era of financial stressors of all sorts including joblessness, on-the-edge family financial concerns, pessimistic outlooks, loss of investments, foreclosures, homelessness, and ever increasing cost of living demands. Any one of these can cause harmful stress in marriages and can cause parents to be impatient and neglectful. US News and World Report examined Financial Woes and Child Abuse Increase.

“Such stress increases the likelihood that family members will resort to quick-tempered reactions. Such poor behaviors include shouting, put-downs, antagonistic attitudes, fear, insecurity, irrational outbursts, and irrational accusations,” warns Dr. Francis. “Spouses without jobs can be overly sensitivity to normal statements. Ordinary spending leads to arguments about unreasonable spending. Being fired because a business needs to shrink can cause false accusations about a spouse’s poor performance at work,” explains Dr. Carol Francis.

Parents will often take out their frustrations, their fears and their blame too. Children will sense fear and stress and become whinier using irritating high-pitches voices that can aggravate a parent’s intolerance. Physical and verbal abuse are two reactions that increase when stress results. Listen to The Dr. Carol Francis on http://www.blogtalkradio.com//dr-carol-francis/2011/10/04/abuse-of-children-and-spouses-and-financial-wows. Find the nature of these problems and their remedies.

?The Bachelor? Couple Jesse & Ann Csincsak Give Cupidspulse.com the Inside Scoop on Season 16

‘The Bachelor’ Couple Jesse & Ann Csincsak Give Cupidspulse.com the Inside Scoop on Season 16

Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) January 17, 2012

Beginning this month, relationship website, CupidsPulse.com (http://www.cupidspulse.com) will collaborate with former ‘Bachelor’ reality stars and married couple, Jesse Csincsak and Ann (Lueders) Csincsak, to get the inside scoop and answer questions about ‘The Bachelor’ Season 16 in a Q&A-styled commentary. The new season premiered Monday, January 2nd on ABC.

“It’s hard to get married and fall in love with 50 producers in your face. There’s definitely going to be drama – 25 beautiful women competing for one eligible bachelor will create a full on battlefield. Trust me, I know from my own experience of being on and winning ‘The Bachelorette’,” Jesse says.

On this season of ‘The Bachelor’ with host Chris Harrison, twenty-five women will be competing for the love of Ben Flajnik, a winemaker based in San Francisco best known for having his heart broken by Ashley Hebert on ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 7.

“It’s great that Jesse and I can collaborate and give our opinion about a show that we’ve both been on before,” says Ann. “We’re looking forward to partnering with Cupid’s Pulse and sharing some real perspective surrounding the behind-the-scenes drama that takes place on set.”

At the end of each episode, contestants will participate in a Rose Ceremony. Each woman who receives a rose from Flajnik will have the opportunity to stay another week and compete for a chance at a hometown date. The last lady standing will ultimately win ‘The Bachelor’s’ heart. Those who come up empty-handed must go home.

“We are honored to have Jesse and Ann join us this season,” says Executive Editor and Founder of CupidsPulse.com, Lori Bizzoco. “They’re the perfect pair because they’ve been on the show previously and later found true love with one another. Their voice is going to resonate with our audience and their opinions will add some ‘reality’ back into reality television.”

The show airs Mondays at 8:00 pm EST/7:00 pm CST on ABC. The Q&A with the Csincsak’s will be posted every Tuesday on CupidsPulse.com.

About Jesse Csincsak & Ann (Lueders) Csincsak

Csincsack and Lueders met in 2009 at a ‘Bachelor’ reunion cruise to Mexico and wed on August 28th 2010 at the ‘Rumor’ hotel in Las Vegas. Csincsak won Season 4 of ‘The Bachelorette’ with Deanna Pappas but the two were only engaged for a short time. Lueders appeared on Season 13 of ‘The Bachelor’ with Jason Mesnick and was eliminated the first night.

CT Fertility Announces Donations to Charity Marking the Birth of Over 300 Babies in 2011

(PRWEB) January 31, 2012

As CT Fertility celebrated the clinic’s 20th anniversary in September of 2011, it announced an expansion of it’s social responsibility initiatives by pledging to donate $ 100 for every baby born in 2011 as a result of CT Fertility’s help. Now when the numbers are in, CT Fertility has awarded a total of $ 31,800, to the beneficiary organizations. “We are proud to have assisted in the conception and successful birth at least 318 babies in 2011,” said Dr. Michael Doyle, the clinic’s founder and medical director. “I could think of no better way to celebrate this achievement than to further the work of three of the organizations we have already supported in the past: Family Equality Council, USA for UNHCR and Mapendo New Horizons.”

CT Fertility and its medical director already have a long history of donating funds, food, and toys to families and children in need. “The three organizations benefiting from the new initiative were chosen due to their long commitment and support for the well being and safety of families of all kinds worldwide,” said Dr. Doyle, “reflecting the growing diversity of the parents we help, including clients from over 30 countries, couples and singles, straight and gay, and spanning a wide range of ages.”

“We are honored to be supported in such a meaningful way by an organization that helped create so many of the families we represent,” said Jennifer Chrisler, Family Equality’s Council’s executive director. “Family Equality Council is America’s foremost advocate for the one million LGBT parents raising two million children in the United States. We are working to ensure their full social and legal equality by building community, providing direct support to families and prospective parents, educating the American public, and securing inclusion in legislation.”

“USA for UNHCR is so thankful for the generous support from Dr. Doyle and the team at CT Fertility,” said Jo Sullivan – the organization’s COO. “Their unwavering commitment and generosity has contribute to our efforts to provides protection, shelter, medical care and other life-saving assistance to more than 36 million people worldwide, who have been forced to flee their homes due to war and persecution. The UN Refugee Agency – a two-time Nobel Peace Prize winner – has already helped an estimated 50 million refugees restart their lives. But countless people, many of them young children, are still being forced to flee for their safety every day. The commitment of people like Dr. Doyle allows us to continue to meet the needs of the world’s most vulnerable people, while building support and awareness for UNHCR’s life-saving relief programs.”

“I am pleased and excited for the support Mapendo New Horizons is receiving from Dr. Doyle and CT Fertility Associates,” said Dr. Kigabo Mbazumutima, one of Mapendo’s co-founders. “We thank Dr. Doyle for his continued support and faith in our mission to give help and hope to vulnerable survivors of physical, psychological, and social trauma in Africa by ensuring them easy access to health care, protection and security.”
