“Jesus said that if a man looks at a woman with lust he has committed adultery in his heart,” Matthew 5:28. You’re right, it’s definitely a heart issue! Thank you for being real and passionate about helping other Christian couples. My husband and I have the same passion for helping married couples. Keep up the good work my brother!

when I met my husband I was and still am a believer…I couldn’t walk down the street without the horns honking as I am an attractive looking woman I still am…he doesn’t look at other woman at all however I do find that other men at church look at me in the grocery store as well every where in fact…the pain I feel is that I can’t be a human being any where I go, some men at church also purposelyavoid looking at me…wow that hurts to as if I was nothing more than what I look like, so creepy!

“to be dealth with prayerfully” … i was wondering when you were gonna say that! This issue does need 2 be tackled head on with prayer (as do all things).
But the role of the wife is to be respectful (ephesians 5:33b) so pciking on your man on his faults and flaws will just make him feel like crap and guilty – therefore making him defensive and he may feel like you are disrespecting him. So if we women act like the ‘bigger person’ in this situation by praying and talking with you man gently…

dont mean to be negative but you forgot to mention it is a SiN. Its not like adultery the Bible says IT IS ADULTERY. Hope you’ll correct this. God bless & continue on brother!! 🙂

It’s so disrespectful to the wife for the husband to look at other women, and you are definitely right, don’t allow the seed to be sown. You don’t have to look. I’ve heard so many men say that they can’t help it and they are visual beings, and it’s the women’s fault, and so on,etc. instead admit to themselves that they are lacking in the area of self-control, and walking in the flesh, therefore adhering to the things that the flesh adheres to like lust, fornication, lying, stealing, etc.

This is one of the reasons I have been so afraid to get married!!! I always here people saying that all men look. I would soooo hate to feel that some other woman has conquered my husband without even saying a word to him. I would be soooo hurt. I’d feel not beautiful enough and on and on…… So many of my Christian male friends say it’s no big deal. I don’t want to hurt like that after I have given my entire life to a man.

Great point!! Men who constantly look at other women are just “torturing themselves”. Like you say, he might as well just appreciate the wife he has. Focusing on your own spouse makes for an uncomplicated life!! Good video.

Thanks much! It seems like Satan loves to try to get in and destroy a marriage. I’m engaged and sometimes I entertain those temptations too much.
Thanks for the reminder! May I always be conscious of the wonderful woman God has brought before me! I want no one else but God and my beautiful wife-to-be!
Thanks!

The single greatest favour any man can EVER do himself,is to remove lust from his eyes…
A real man lives by principle, not feelings
The essence of a disciple is discipline…..
